More information | Open ice swimming turn for SYKETTÄ users. On the turn, follow the safety instructions of Saunakeidas. Never go into the water alone. In use sauna Pielinen. No extra persons may be included. Please note! You can only book one SYKETTÄ ice swimming shift per week so as many people as possible would have the opportunity to participate. Doorcode: 3331 You should bring your own towel and swimsuit. Swimwear is also worn in the sauna. The use of swimming shoes/socks and gloves and headgear is recommended. The water can be reached by two steps, one of which (black railing), is also suitable for swimming without gloves. When using other stairs, gloves should be worn if the frost exceeds -5C. Swimming and sauna bathing take place at your own risk and safety instructions MUST be read carefully if the place is not already familiar. Wash yourself carefully before going to the sauna; the showers are located in the changing rooms. - Please always wear a swimsuit in premises. - Always use a peflet in the sauna. - Do not keep the doors of the changing rooms or saunas open unnecessarily. - Please only walk from the sauna to the swimming area and back along the marked paths. - Please clean your feet before going to the sauna or changing rooms. - Please also pay attention to the other people present and respect foreign cultures/customs. - Please put the trash in the designated places. - Non-smoking General safety instructions: 1. The use of intoxicants and being intoxicated on our premises are strictly prohibited. 2. Please do not swim or take a sauna alone 3. Come only if you feel completely healthy. 4. Please make sure you know how to swim. 5. Go to the swimming spot only along the marked paths and take into account possible slippage. 6. Please never jump off the pier, but descend to the swimming point via a ladder. 7. You can find a lifebuoy and a sling at the pier. 8. In the event of an emergency, call the general emergency number 112. You can find the premises address on the notice board. Please follow the safety and operating instructions. If possible, please wear footwear intended for winter swimming with a supportive sole. We also recommend wearing a beanie or sauna hat. Cool down for a while after leaving the sauna before going to the swimming area. Please note that the passageways can be very slippery depending on the weather.We do not recommend wetting your head during winter swimming. Please never jump off the pier, but descend to the swimming point via a ladder. Please note the flow caused by the aerator of the opening when swimming.Start swimming calmly and thoughtfully, at the same time observing the ability of your muscles to function. Dress warmly after winter swimming and sauna and take care of hydration. |
